BEAT THE HEAT and bring the great outdoors inside at SPARK!: Scenes from San Jacinto! Invigorate your senses using some of the natural beauty of the San Jacinto Battleground at this special session that brings inside samples of plant life, then create your own diorama of the sights of the San Jacinto Battleground to take home.
SPARK! is a free program for caregivers and loved ones experiencing beginning to mid-stage Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of memory loss. SPARK! programs feature interactive experiences in a welcoming environment. Specially-trained museum educators engage participants in lively discussions, artmaking, encountering museum artifacts, and other multi-sensory activities.
Registration is FREE to the public and is required prior to participation. All registrations must be received at least one day in advance of selected programs.
