HEAD TO THE SAN JACINTO MONUMENT for SPARK!: Revolutionary Flag Making! 

 

In this SPARK! session, learn about the many flags of the Texas Revolution, and try your hand at creating your own flag to take home. Visitors can also enjoy a special object viewing courtesy of the San Jacinto Museum of flag-related archival material and artifacts. 

 

SPARK! is a free program for caregivers and loved ones experiencing beginning to mid-stage Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of memory loss. SPARK! programs feature interactive experiences in a welcoming environment. Specially-trained museum educators engage participants in lively discussions, artmaking, encountering museum artifacts, and other multi-sensory activities. 

Registration is FREE to the public and is required prior to participation. All registrations must be received at least one day in advance of selected programs.
