THE SAN JACINTO MUSEUM AND SAN JACINTO Battleground State Historic Site will be closed to the public on Saturday, December 2, 2023, as staff and volunteers prepare and set up the site for Fields of Honor: A Luminous Tribute at San Jacinto that will take place that evening from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Over 21,500 luminaria will be placed across the battleground, and a one-way driving route laid out through the site.
