San Jacinto Year-End Campaign: History for Every Student
The San Jacinto Museum and Battlefield Association is committed to preserving and sharing the rich history of Texas, but like many non-profit museums, we face chronic funding challenges. For our Title I School program, which provides free museum visits for students from underserved schools, this lack of funding creates a direct barrier between curious young learners and the history they deserve to experience. Without the support of generous donors, many students would miss out on the chance to engage with history hands-on, explore interactive exhibits, and participate in programs designed to spark a lifelong love of learning. Each year, tight budgets and rising costs limit our ability to bring these students through our doors, making community support essential to keep this program alive and thriving.
Every year, hundreds of students from Title I schools are unable to visit the San Jacinto Museum and Battlefield due to tight school budgets and limited resources. These students miss out on hands-on history, interactive exhibits, and educational programs that bring Texas history to life.
Your support ensures that every child has the chance to learn, explore, and be inspired, without financial barriers. By donating, you make history accessible to students who might otherwise never experience it firsthand.
