Description
Six stones from the site of La Salle's Texas colony. Piece of paper included with the stones reads: "Relics of La Salle's Colony Established 1685 in Victoria, Co. Tex." Five of the stones (a-f) range in size to 2 1/4" in length. 3380.c and 3380.d are charred. The other stone, 3380.g, appears to be a fragment of a whetstone. Objects are accompanied by two unlabelled unidentified metal fragments (h,i).
