Musket ball.
Provenance
John Bricker was fatally shot in the head with this musket ball at the April 8, 1836 engagement at San Felipe on the Brazos River, making him the first casualty of the San Jacinto Campaign. Originally given to the Houston Public Library by D. P. Bricker.
