Description
Baby doll (a) with clothes (b-f). "Bye-Lo Baby". Bisque head with closing eyes. Celluloid hands. Cloth body. Insribed at base of neck "Copr. by Grace S. Putnam MADE IN GERMANY". Stain around torso. Also includes long white cotton baby dress (b).
Provenance
Putnam's "Bye-Lo Baby" dolls were made from German cast heads attached to American made bodies. They held the world record for sales for three years. Belonged to Vee M. Lee. Formerly
