Description
Broad leather ammunition belt. Made of two plies of leather stitched together. Stitched design below bullet holders. Fastening strap secured with three brass brads. Tooled logo obscured by brads includes a star and "[?]NDY & PA[?]R AUSTIN, T[?]." Fastening strap has been notched to fit around bullet holder, appears to be a later addition or repair. Nickel [?] plated belt buckle.
Provenance
Belonged to John Fulkes of Austin, a Texas Ranger and father-in-law of the donor. John Fulkes also had a farm at Pflugerville, Texas.
