Description
Pillow sham. Hand made white sham with alternate rows of tiny rickrack, briar stitch and tucking. Border of white scalloped embroidery. Made by Mrs. Cheve Taliaferro, granddaughter of Mrs. Mary Ann Glascock Anderson.
Provenance
Mrs. Mary Ann Glascock Anderson married Mr. Washington Anderson, a veteran of the Battle of San Jacinto. Their home at Round Rock, Texas, was the sixth house in Williamson County and the first house in that county to have glass windows.
