PRICE, ROBERT - Born in South Carolina, August 2, 1811. The records of the Texas Veterans Association show that he came to Texas in 1828. He was a member of Captain Gibson Kuykendall’s company and on July 16, 1838 he was issued Donation Certificate No. 468 for 640 acres of land for having detailed to guard the baggage at the camp opposite Harrisburg, April 21, 1836. On page ______ of the army rolls he is shown as a member of Captain H. N. Cleveland’s company of Mill Creek Volunteers at muster _______ 1836.

Mr. Price died August 17, 1900 and is buried in the cemetery at Round Mountain, Blanco County, Texas.
