November 23, 2005

The dioramas have been enclosed to prevent any damage from falling tools or moving equipment.  A temporary exhibit has been installed over the enclosure for display until work begins in this area.

November 11, 2005

Shelving from the textile storage area (gray) and library (beige) is staged in the elevator lobby before being moved into a conex box.

November 3, 2005

 A large crane sets a container onto the terrace of the Monument.

Containers will be used to house supplies and support materials during the renovation project. 

November 2-7, 2005

The paintings in the elevator lobby are removed and wrapped for transport to secure offsite storage.  This is one of the last glimpses of the dioramas for a while, as they will be covered with plywood to protect them during the project.
