The protective covering has been removed from the portrait of Sam Houston in the gallery.  Touch-up painting will be done to the area of the wall that was blocked by the cover when the rest of the wall was painted.

A start has been made on unpacking some of the collections.  The empty boxes are ready to be broken down, and the light fixtures will be returned to the top of the exhibit cases.

The boxed artifacts have been returned to the collections storage area.  These are only a few of the boxes that will need to be unpacked.

Framed art has also been returned, and is waiting to be housed in the proper area.
