The elevator doors are polished while the plywood remains to protect the floor.

On the third and fourth floors, new drywall and elevator doors are installed.  Prior to the renovation, a wire cage surrounded the elevator shaft, with wire mesh doors.  Now the doors cannot be opened unless the elevator is on at the floor.

The new equipment to open the elevator doors has arrived, and will be installed in the next few days.
