The Jesse H. Johnes Theatre for Texas Studies will be closed September 18-September 25, 2017, for maintenance and renovation.

Your trip to the San Jacinto Museum of History wouldn’t be complete without stepping into the action of Texas Forever!! The Battle of San Jacinto. With a repeat showing every hour on the hour starting at 10 with a last show at 5, Texas Forever!! tells the story of Texas, in the only way it should be told — big!

Relax in the comfortable, 160-seat Jesse H. Jones Theatre for Texas Studies, as this 35-minute production transports you from the earliest Spanish colonies to the day the West was won! Awesome surround sound and three digital projectors enrich your visit to the battlefield.

Included in the show’s more than 3,000 images are 35 original paintings commissioned by the San Jacinto Museum of History Association just for Texas Forever!! Engaging and inviting, the show appeals to kids and adults alike — telling a Texas-big story in a Texas-big way.
