Description

Military uniform waistcoat. Cream velvet front with three pockets and a high collar. Eight brass buttons. Back and lining in white cotton. Belt and tie across back.


Provenance

Belonged to Sidney Sherman. Believed to have been worn at the Battle of San Jacinto.
