Description

Iron pot. Round body. Flared lip. Two handles, 4 1/4"H x 1 1/2"W. Three legs. Heavy wear, with loss to one handle. Piece missing from lip 2 3/4"W x 1"D.


Provenance

Used by the servants of Dr. Erasmus Edwards (d. 1888). Edwards came to Texas in 1842 and was a veteran of the Mexican War. He was Mrs. Clement's maternal grandfather.
