Description

Clear glass apethocary bottle (a) with large stopper (b). Solid substance inside. Sienna colored residue on inside walls. Stopper encrusted with residue. Brown paper label reads "TIEMANN ['S] BURNT SIENN[A}".


Provenance

Donor operated Tesch and Tesch, Druggists and Apothecaries, Bellville, Texas. Sienna is used by artists as a dye or paint.
