Description

Doll (a). Girl. Bisque face and hands. Glass brown closing eyes. Brown curly hair. White jointed kid body. "JDK" trademark on chest. Wearing white cotton undershirt (b), bloomers (c), white cotton socks (d-e), black shoes (f-g), and white bows in hair (h-i). Clothing and bows do not appear to be original.


Provenance

J.D.K was the trademark for J. D. Kestner, Jr., an important late 19th century German manufacturer.
