Description

Wooden toy carriage house with three stalls under second story hayloft with locking doors. House painted with red brick design, white trim, brown columns at front, clock over double locking doors. Small burlap bags and shredded burlap fibers, meant to look like hay and feed bags, had been placed in one stall. Text panel found with object states: "probably made by Schoenhut."


Provenance

Belonged to Walter Bedford Forrest Sharp, donor's son. Original catalog card states: "Relic restored by San Jacinto Museum."
