ROBINETT, ENOCH - In the headright certificate issued to Mr. Robinett May 3, 1838 for one-third of a league of land by the Board of Land Commissioners for Robertson County it is stated that he came to Texas in November, 1835. He was issued Donation Certificate No. 492 for 640 acres of land May 31, 1853 for having been detailed to guard the baggage at the camp opposite Harrisburg, April 21, 1836. He was living in Harris County May 31, 1853 when he sold the certificate to John D. Anderson for $105.
Mr. Robinett died in Harris County, January 8, 1860. His brother-in-law T. W. Bennett was appointed administrator of his estate January 14, 1860. Mr. Robinett was survived by his widow Mrs. Elizabeth Robinett.
