1843, 08/24   Note  ADS.  J. L. McCrackin, Independence, Texas, to Major Oldham ordering him to let M. H. Davis have a 640-acre land claim.

Legal

Certification

1838, 03/24   ADS from Charles Mason, Acting Secretary of War, War Department, Houston.  Certificate that there is on file in the War Department a power of attorney from William Clark to James Spillman, and also an honorable discharge issued to William Clark.

Deed

1868, 08/01   AD.  J. W. Simmons, Navarro County, Texas, to J. B. Lucious a deed to Lots 3, 4, and 6 in Block 3, Mt. Pisgah, Navarro County, Texas.

1852, 03/05   Marriage Bond.  ADS.  Smith T. McCabe and Shepherd P. Bailey, Navarro County, Texas, to H. P. Bell, Governor of the State of Texas, a bond of $1,000 for the marriage of Smith T. McCabe to Clarrissa Shaw.

1850, 12/19   Marriage License. ADS.  R. V. White, County Court Clerk of Navarro County, Texas, to any regular ordained Minister of the Gospel, Chief Justice, Judge, or Justice of the Peace, a marriage license for John F. Sever and Elizabeth Sutton.

1883, 02/19   Marriage License.  PPDS.  S. H. Kerr, County Court Clerk of Navarro County, Texas to any Judge of the County or District Court, regularly licensed or ordained Minister of the Gospel, or Justice of the Peace, in and for said county, a marriage license for Mr. Sing Lee and Miss Micah Boliki.
