WEBB, THOMAS H. -- Arrived in Texas in February, 1836, as is stated in Headright Certificate No. 61 issued to him by the Montgomery County Board, January 19, 1838 for one-third of a league of land. In Comptroller's Military Service Record No. 1182 it is certified that he served in the army from March 1 to May 30, 1836. He was a member of Captain James Gillaspie's company at San Jacinto and on July 11, 1838 he was issued Donation Certificate No. 456 for 640 acres of land for having participated in the battle. He was later made second lieutenant of the company.

The marriage records of Washington County show that Mr. Webb was married to Rhoda Ann S. Jones October 5, 1841.

Mr. Webb was a member of the Texas Veterans Association. He died in Robertson County in 1882.
