FRAZER, HUGH -- Came to Texas in Mach, 1835, as is shown in the Headright Certificate issued to him January 18, 1838, for one-third of a league of land by the Harrisburg County Board. He was a member of Captain Moseley Baker's "San Felipe Company" at San Jacinto and on December 23, 1841, was issued Donation Certificate No. 1185 for 640 acres of land for having participated in the battle. A Bounty Certificate (number torn) for 640 acres of land was issued in his name November 9, 1837, for his services in the army from March 27 to September 28, 1836. The rights to the certificate had been transferred to john Belden of Houston July 3, 1837.

Mr. Frazer was living in Harrisburg County May 16, 1838, when he sold his Headright Certificate to W. N. H. Smith.
