Monument Classic Golf Tournament

On the occasion of our third Monument Classic Golf Tournament, the San Jacinto Museum of History Association kicks off the annual commemoration of the Battle of San Jacinto at the Bay Forest Golf Course in La Porte.  We also salute our diplomatic community and our energy industry neighbors and encourage you to join us for a patriotic day of Texas hospitality.

Bay Forest, designed by well known Texas architect Jay Riviere, is one of Texas' top 20 municipal facilities.  Scenic waterways meander throughout the wooded front nine before mushrooming into larger lakes on the more open back nine.  In all, 16 holes have water coming into play.  Bay Forest's unique design, 5 par 5's and 5 par 3's, plays to a 6,788 yard par 72.

The third annual Monument Classic Golf Tournament will tee off at Bay Forest Golf Course, La Porte, at 12:30 on April 20, 2004. 

Format San Jacinto scramble consisting of four person teams, regardless of handicap.  Two flights will be determined after all scores are submitted to the scorer's table.

Schedule of Events Registration 11:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Tee Off 12:30 p.m.

Lunch and Dinner for Everyone! Deli buffet will be provided.  Awards dinner ceremony will immediately follow the round.

Entry Fee $125 per player (2 mulligans per player). Includes green fees, cart, range balls, prizes, lunch, dinner and four drink tickets.  The deadline for entries and payment is April 14, 2004.

Team Prizes Each Flight Team prizes for each flight will include a limited edition San Jacinto Monument Statue.  Prizes will be the same for the two flights - first, second, third, and fourth place.

Raffle Delta Airlines has contribued two round trip tickets to Hawaii.  Raffle tickets costing $10.00 each will be available prior to and at the golf tournament.
