San Jacinto Museum of History to Celebrate Exciting New Exhibit Texas Originals: Real and Imagined, with a Series of Family Days.

What: A new exhibit called Texas Originals: Real and Imagined, will opoen at the San Jacinto Museum beginning September 4, 2004. This exhibit, previously on display at the Witte Museum in San Antonio, contains one-of-a-kind artifacts which detail the rich moments of Texas history by highlighting Native Americans, cowboys and Vaqueros, and the oil industry.
When:
- September 4, 2004 -- Family Day Celebrations in Traditions, highlighting Native Americans
- October 9, 2004 -- Family Day, highlighting Exploration and Oil
- November 6, 2004 -- 2nd Annual Fall Family Festival, highlighting Cowboys and Vaqueros
More: All Family Days will feature dozens of vendors, food and beverage, live entertainment, arts and crafts activities for children and families, and more. Admission is FREE.
