2007 San Jacinto Day Festival and Battle Reenactment

Calling all arts and crafts vendors and exhibitors, food vendors, entertainers and historical demonstrators!

The San Jacinto Day Festival celebrates the anniversary of Texas' Battle of San Jacinto with a full day of music, entertainment, food, games, and fun set amidst living history.  Imagine dozens of festive tents surrounding the historic San Jacinto Monument - all showcasing Texas games, arts and crafts, historic displays, music, entertainment and festival food.  Visitors stroll through the area all day.  Late in the afternoon, a reenactment of the battle takes place on the San Jacinto Battleground.  The battle reenactment is one of the largest in the state, complete with cannons, muskets, horses, pyrotechnics and hundreds of reenactors - dressed in uniforms that duplicate the real dress of the day.

More than 25,000 attended the Festival in April 2006.  With your help, we want visitors to have an enjoyable experience at the 2007 Festival and celebrate one of the most exciting and significant events in the history of Texas.

By offering your products or services for the Festival, you will help raise awareness of the San Jacinto Museum of History's part in Texas history education.  Our goal is to make history come alive in order to reinforce classroom teaching and the public's knowledge of Texas history.  Your contribution to the annual San Jacinto Day Festival will allow us to meet this goal.

Space is limited, so reserve your spot early!  Please return your application as soon as possible to indicate your interest.  Your reservation is confirmed with receipt of your application and payment.  All reservations must be submitted and paid by March 1, 2007.
