October 2010

October 9: USS TEXAS Crewmember Reunion.  Memorial service 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.

November 2010

November 6: Veteran's Day Celebrations; private tour for winners of the Veteran's Day Art and Essay Contest for school age children from third grade through twelfth grade; call 281.479.2431 for information about the contest.

December 2010

December 1-31: Yuletide TEXAS.  Visit throughout the month to see the Battleship TEXAS adorned with lights, ornaments and decorations in the spirit of the season, just the way the crew members who served aboard her did while serving their country.

December 4: Pearl Harbor Ceremony.  Annual ceremony commemorating the December 7, 1941 bombing of Pearl Harbor.  Ceremony 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

December 11: A Sailors Christmas.  Step back in time for some holiday fun.  10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
